"The Ultimate Impossible Quest."  As opposed to all of the other impossible quests that came before this one, which were not only impossible but impossible in a lesser sort of way than this one...the ultimate impossible quest...if it were possible to be impossible without being essentially the same level of possible that all other impossible quests might possibly be.

Hilarious.  Of course, impossibility is one of those states of perfection for which there is no comparitive form; a quest is either impossible or it isn't.  You can compare two quests that are close to being impossible by saying that one is "more nearly impossible" than the other.  But two impossible quests are equally impossible, and therefore cannot be compared on the grounds of their impossibility.

There, grammar lesson complete.

bonk!

This seller has Dragonlance modules DL1-DL10.  Check out the descriptions.  Wow.  Deserves a bid just for writing all that.

Black box Tractics. Only 22 hrs. to go.  I think this may be only the second time I have ever seen one of these on Ebay.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Seller tried to slip it past us with only a three day auction.  :P

Cross-posting from the Non-TSR interesting items thread:

Even though they're not what's drawing bidders to this auction, it's worth noting that the OD&D booklets are photocopies.  The seller wasn't originally aware of this, but is going to amend the auction description.

Is it just me or has anyone else seen OD&D booklets that look just like these - the same covers I mean.  I could swear I have seen them before.

mixed lot - early UK print basic rule rarely comes up (see here - http://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/setpage ... icfor.html)(I wasn't the first from the Acaeum to spot it!

According to the seller it is a 1st print but missing the perforated reference sheets (last page).

ADVANCED D&D MONSTER MANUAL NIB MINT SEALED 1977 78 77

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Sounds good, maybe, but item has no pic, has yet to respond to email, and normally operates an auto junkyard of sorts. I guess the first print could have been shrinkwrapped. I haven't found reference to that here, yet.
