I, and probably a few others, requested a side shot to see the warping and it's been now posted. Seems like its seriously bent -- it would almost make we want to take it out of the shrink and try to flatten it :)

This looks like one of those cases where keeping the item in the SW has done more harm than good...I sure wouldn't pay a premium for it...and if I did end up with it, I would immediately remove it from the offending shrink to try to flatten it..

Hi,

sorry didnt click.

That is defintely NOT the same shrink as the copy I have. So either they used more than 1 type of shrinkwrapping machine, or the shrink isnt original.

Yes, its possible mine isnt original, but judging by the comments here, plus the fact I got it from a long-time UK collector and not the Noble Knight route, and only paid peanuts for it, would indicate to the contrary.

Cheers,
Malc

Yes.

I have a stack of AD&D hardbacks in the bottom shelf near my desk.  At any one time, there are 15-20 of these, plus whatever current books/comics I am looking through. it is extremely heavy, and in the past, putting items at the bottom for a month or so will do wonders.

Sometimes the item is so deformed, all you can hope for it that it lays flat, because it has creases.  But at least it will lay flat...

I've had items require more than a month, sometimes only a week or so will straighten them out....
