Hmm, no, I don't have a gambling problem, I'm winning, and winning is not a problem. That's like saying Michael Jordan has a basketball problem, or Def Leppard has an awesomeness problem. So why don't y'all pour some sugar on that?

Very nice looking monochrome D1-3 and G1-3.

FOR THOSE OF YOU BIDDING OR INTENDING TO BID ON THE ABOVE AUCTIONS:

I saw these lovely little pastel gems and noted they look 8) nice from the distant & filtered images PDT_Armataz_01_06 , so I opted to ask my standard question for each set. Here is my question for both and the answers from the seller:

QUESTION: "Hello, You describe their conditions as being excellent or near mint, but I have won too many items in the past and been disappointed. Could you please tell me if there is any highlighting, marks, stains, staple rust, tears, or writings anywhere on the covers or inside their pages? Thanks in Advance - PM"

D1-D3 ANSWER: "D1 has some staple rust, the players map has been detached but has not markings, there are also some light pencil marks on one page; the cover has no stains, however the top right and bottom left corners are slightly turned up. D2 has only slight staple rust with no other stains or markings either on the cover or the interior pages. D3 has a light shelf wear mark on the front cover and staple rust but again no other stains or markings on the cover or interior pages."

G1-G3 ANSWER: "G1 has two very small stains on the back cover, a little rust on the staples and a couple of ink marks on an interior page. G2 only has one barely visible stain on the front cover, but not interior markings. G3 has a couple of light watermarks on the front cover and slight staple rust, no interior markings. None of them have any binding creases or bent corners. All interior pages are bright white with no tears or creases. All have been stored in protective plastic sleeves since I acquired them. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. EJS"

So much for those "MINTY"  interior pages!!  Just thought that everyone "here that is" should know what they are bidding on

Good Luck,

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

Wow, those compilation-like things actually have more than $3 value? Tempting to get that one, but my budget has been exceeded for the month so I'm not allowed to get anything. Damnit.

I think more interesting is the first of the Goodman Games Free RPG day giveaways for sale from the same seller:

Wonder if Mike's auction drew them out. Actually quite surprised these are not more common, but then all those with hopes of making a lot from the Free RPG day probably didn't expect companies to offer free or cheap copies themselves.

Oh and I have been seeing WotC's Magic day advertised, anyone going to get a rare promo card?

Who or what is "them"?  I see only two auctions for DCC 51.5 --- one from Badmike and one from the "atzeppelinscore" fellow.

I actually just got curious...I hadn't seen a copy up ever, and I've been watching since the Free Game Day to see if/when someone would list one.  Nothing in the two weeks since.  I was interested in seeing what the market would say, particularly since Goodman has announced they are re-releasing the module next month (probably won't matter to completists who didn't get a copy of the freebie).
I think my auction did "draw them out" so to speak, and now it will be interesting to see how many more are put up for sale in the next few days...and what they sell for. There has to be a lot of copies sitting around out there.

$1,000 seems like a lot, although these are quite rare I suppose. Wasn't another one sold not so long ago (can't remember the price for that...)
