I love the description - 'there are some small marks inside' etc. Realistically if you can get over the fact that it's been duct taped you can probably live with a few small marks as well

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

Heck I'm still tempted to get it just to see what drives somebody to duct tape a book like that.  Maybe they were doing somekind "live the rules" option. :D

I must say though that once in awhile an item comes up that is just begging to be published and this is most certainly in that category.

I have a copy that someone made a rather poor attempt at coloring in at least half the pictures (with what appeared to be highlighters and markers) and even drew airplanes and other oddities on the blank pages in the front and back.  No Rants ala James Pearlman though...darn it!

I seem to recall that Paul makes a copy of every item he sells as 'collector's trove'.  If so, there could be a couple of possibilities.  (i) perhaps Paul could be persuaded to sell that, or better still, make a few copies (with Eric's permission of course) and sell them; (ii) Eric himself could be persuaded to print up and sell a number of copies of this - in a similar manner to Rob's work; (iii) perhaps whoever wins could produce and sell some copies (again with Eric's permission).  Would be cool to see something like this out and available.

IIRC Paul scans and saves to CD if the original owner wants to keep a copy of his rarities. I would imagine the possibility of copies being made would ruin TT reputaion and lower all future market values for Paul's product. That would be a bad move.
