Nice avatar, Bombadil.

Planning to help Perry reach the pole?

Didn't you say something about being north of the Arctic Circle this summer?

I believe we should hereby refer to Stephen as "Nanook of the North" or simply Nanook for short.  :D

Reminds me of that campy made-for-television movie starring Mickey Rooney as a "special needs" guy I saw in high school (must have been '80 or '81):  "My name is William.  Bill for short!"

Yes indeed, heading due north at the end of the month.  My wife has been up there for the past week and a half, but comes home tomrrow.   :D

This is the big year, boys.  LOTS of activities in the Arctic, with strong involvement by the Canadians, Scandinavians, and to some extent Americans.  Several meetings gearing up in D.C. over the next few weeks as well.  Look for plenty of media coverage.  (For example, my wife ran into a film crew who are supposed to join me up there next month  8O).

Hey Stephen,

What are you and your wife working on, global warming  ?

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

I like this line:

I sometimes use descriptions of items from a web site, so I need to include that website's name here
(some of the self imposed "police" over there get a bit testy if I don't mention the site)

http://www.acaeum.com

And:

The photos show the actual magazine (but let's give http://www.acaeum.com credit anyway just in case).

And also:
Did I forget to mention http://www.acaeum.com
Just wanted to be sure they didn't feel left out.
I list on ebay to support their website.

I love the description - 'there are some small marks inside' etc. Realistically if you can get over the fact that it's been duct taped you can probably live with a few small marks as well

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.
