Wow. This item comes up so rarely and now there seem to be multiples on Ebay. I wonder if this will bring the price down?

This is for those more interested in TSR related items

Boxed set of  Buck Rogers In 25th Century Countdown To Doomsday by TSR.

This only the second time I have seen this boxed set - having said that I am sure others may see it more regularly.

The first auction has green 3-1/2" floppies, and the second has blue 3-1/2" floppies.  Variants!

Palace of the Vampire Queen

Hmm, no, I don't have a gambling problem, I'm winning, and winning is not a problem. That's like saying Michael Jordan has a basketball problem, or Def Leppard has an awesomeness problem. So why don't y'all pour some sugar on that?

This thing is going to need its own thread because I really do not want to clog up this thread, but that same seller is also selling photocopies of the the 4 supplement booklets as well:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Additionally, the current high bidder is the same guy who posted in the claasifieds that he is looking to buy whole collections:

viewtopic.php?p=84468#84468

Which would not ordinarily be bad, except for the fact that the guy is from Hong Kong(Fakes anyone?) :

FWIW, I am bidder #1, but like I said this deserves its own thread and I can't stress enough how cautious everyone should be in dealing with this auction in lieu of the current circumstances without getting a whole lot more information.

I'm not quite sure what to make of degassey.  His feedback is only as a buyer so unless he sells under another account, he might just be a collector from Hong Kong.

Hack away, gents. I wouldn't touch the PoVQ with a 10' pole.

Has there been a thread yet on methods to authenticate paper and ink. I think it is inevitable given the price of some of these items that people will attempt to defraud the public at some stage. The problem is rife in the stamp collecting community.

For valuable items, it may be time to start cataloguing paper types, ink types and printing methods. There is a whole field of document authentication studies and science to go with it.

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.
