It is actually a second print not a first.  The first print is the one with the lizard logo on the front.

That's interesting:  I would have guessed that a lid without a logo would have been an earlier printing, which is why I threw this one on watch.  I'll have to check my copies upstairs tomorrow to see if I have one without any logo at all.

With some of the boxed games, early editions had a plain white back of the box and later editions put the typical product inside photo and description on the back.  This one has a picture of the lizard logo'd box set but also has a wizard logo on the back of the box.

I forget if this one has a catalog page in it or not but it would probably have been updated as well.

There have been quite a few of these on Ebay recently. What do people think this game is worth? Has anyone played it? Is it fun?

lankhmar here with no lizard on box top and white back. should be first print from the source purchased i thought

The 1st print has the same list as these books:
- GH 4th (7/76)
- BLK 2nd (7/76)
- ELD 2nd (7?/76)
- GDH 1st ("7/76"(=8/76))
- S&S 1st ("7/76"(=?8/76))
- Lankhmar (?/76)

With - Metamorphous Alpha 1st (7/76) being the first instance of Lankhmar appearing in the product list.

((Dates are not cleaned up from the list I compiled, they are part Acaeum, David's work, and/or copyright page/introduction page dates))

Never knew Quadrille graph paper for D&D was valuable, but since you guys brought it to my attention:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Based on Acaeum prices, I think my buy-it-now is about right, and the starting bid is only 99 cents!
