Nice!

I can't believe it was only worth $1.89 (+ $6 shipping) to eyeofvecna. I'd probably pay at least $3.01 for it.  :D

D'oh.... I bought the same poster from a seller last year, but it cost me about $15 I think. And it wasn't in as good condition as yours. I need to learn more patience....

We were talking about pick a paths. Here is the "junior" group complete with box. I highly recommend these to those of you who have kids in the 6-8 years old range.

This went from $26 to $119 in the last 5 minutes of the auction.  I didn't realize these were that desirable.

Makes one wonder a little bit--the next high bid is more than four times the previous high bid; could that be "shilling" or would it be too obvious?  (I mean, it is one thing to raise a bid from, say, $5.00 to $20.00----but $26.00+ to $119.00???)

This auction is not a shill.  Both of the top 2 bidders are members here and have no affiliation to each other. :)

Anyone going to 'fess up?

To clarify, as far as I am aware(unless he lied to me) the seller took these auctions down due to issues that he was having with Paypal at the time.  Since I was the high bidder at the time I was a bit distressed at the thought of having the the rug snatched out from under me so I asked what happened.  His reply was this:

had a problem with multiple accounts and could not access Pal Pal until one or more were closed.Did not receive payment for some purchases. Will relist when these problems are solved Won't close my accounts until 14days pass

So going by what he said and again assuming that he neither lied to me nor has been persuaded to change his mind since, these should see their way back on Ebay within the next few weeks.

He needs to get some pictures up....his presentation (no picture, bad spelling, no feedback, etc) makes the auction look extremely shady.

These magazines have a lot of articles by the early role playing guys before D&D so they are very desirable and in many cases usually go for between $50 and $150.  A bunch of them were sold for similar amounts from a different seller a week or two ago.  It really depends on the issue.

That is typical of collectible items labeled as Chinese or Tibetan.

The sellers seem to count on the fact that some people will not read the listing and place a bid for a 500 gram item that they will charge $200 for shipping.

A good rule of thumb is to look at the item location and if it says "China" you should automatically assume that they are trying to rip off the buyer with excess shipping charges.   :x
