DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Game Electronic Vintage 1980 Mattel

http://cgi.ebay.com/DUNGEONS-DRAGONS-Ga ... dZViewItem

Never knew this existed, but I always keep finding new & interesting things. Sounds kinda cool, but could be corny crap as well

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

There was just some discussion of this product yesterday:

I've never played that Mattel Game. I can remember an ad for it on TV.

If I ever bought one, it would be for the artwork on the cover. I've always liked that "jeweled" dragon.

Once I've seen an auction for a promo poster with the artwork:

There's actually quite a bit of history there. You could check out the guy's feedback, which eagle-eyed users here first noticed a few weeks ago:

Acaeum discussion

Great listing, though! I just sent the link to Cougie ... or The Little Princess ... or The Known Thief And Liar ... or whatever the hell he is calling himself these days.

Check his feedback; check Cougie's feedback. They've been blasting away at each other for weeks.

Also see this thread.

It sounds like the eBay account for Asylum Books & Games in Aberdeen. It's an established hobby shop of many years, and probably Harami's local (although there's probably little there to interest a collector).

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Coincidence alert! I was just following some links on his About Me page and came across this:

"Our retail store located in Aberdeen caters for any enthusiast interested in comics, books or games."

So, yes, good call, it looks like.  :)
