Haven't seen one of those in a while, have we?  I could just be growing senile, but the 1sts and 3rds seem to come up more often.  :?

I'm sure it's just luck of the draw.  Next year you'll be posting that we had an overwhelming amount of 2nds and few 1sts and 3rds.

Gus Landt wrote:I figured to get them all quickly (i.e. not spending weeks/months looking for great prices) would cost me $20 per module.  Getting them all at once was worth a $50 premium to me.  Thus, I placed a value of $290 on that auction.
I _suck_ at waiting for a good price once I decide I want something.  I'd rather pay double and get it asap.
Plus, I've got an assload of overtime this month @ work, so my pockets were fat.  :D

Hey Gus,

I know that you just wanted to re-stock your collection and you were not too concerned about condition, but you might be interested in this response from the seller when I asked about their conditions:

I do not see any highlighting or writing or tears on or in the books. Most of them have at least a little water stain. Some do have rust where the staples are.

I hope that you are not going to be disappointed when they arrive

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

May not be that interesting, but if you read the contents of the boxed set someone might find a great value from a heavenly seller . . . with only 4+ hours remaining

That did look interesting.  One of those you don't know until you get it lots.  The seller said it was a money order only (but they have a Paypal logo).  Sometimes I get lazy and don't want to bother with money orders.  Then again you can get some real bargains from money order people.

Seller's feedback is pretty bad but someone might be able to look past the numbers and get a pretty decent deal.

Looks like someone decided to buy these out behind the scenes from this newbay seller.  As shame, they probably could have made more by keeping them up but we will never know...

It is strange since I asked him for a BIN before any bids was put on items and made a **very interesting** offer for a new seller and he answered that he is not interested by any offer...

I'm sure he got a hundred "very interesting" offers, with and without bids.
