You have to wonder, even if these things have a rarity of 5 (i.e. not many were produced), their "effective rarity" from a buying perspective ought to be like 2 or something.

Either few people want these things and so they are getting turned over quite a bit; this past year is just an anomaly; or we're seeing the same auction over and over (which I don't think is the case).

Hrm...if I was going to spend $130 on a bunch of books I would want to be able to read the damn things without an electron microscope.

I figured to get them all quickly (i.e. not spending weeks/months looking for great prices) would cost me $20 per module.  Getting them all at once was worth a $50 premium to me.  Thus, I placed a value of $290 on that auction.
I _suck_ at waiting for a good price once I decide I want something.  I'd rather pay double and get it asap.
Plus, I've got an assload of overtime this month @ work, so my pockets were fat.  :D

Dwarven Glory:

http://cgi.ebay.com/THE-DWARVEN-GLORY-W ... dZViewItem

Seller also has an Endless Dungeon.

Regarding Gus' purchase above (16 modules for $280), I can understand the logic - a couple of years ago I bought a group lot of 18 or 20 mods for $330; all the monos which were all in absolute mint condition, plus a few later mods in shrink. I figured $15-20 each or thereabouts was an OK price. Plus, buying each module individually meant I would have had to pay at least $9 shipping on each one out here to Australia - so although the price Gus paid looks high, I think its pretty reasonable.

Regards

Mike

I would agree...shipping would kill you on, say, five separate transactions.

I was only giving Gus a hard time....

I found these two but am a little weary on bidding much.  No paypal, no picture, no feedback.

Dwarven Glory - Note that the seller does not even say whether it is a real product, a book a photocopy or give any description of how much highlighting and drawing is in it.
