It's probably worth a small bid if you were into this kind of thing...it looks better than any of my chicken scratchings from back in the day.

A small bid at most since you aren't actually getting originals but copies.  His term "color scan copy" has me a bit confused too.  Are you getting a pdf of the thing or just a colour photocopy or he scans it then prints it out on his colour inkjet?

Sounds like the last one to me.  He probably isn't interested in selling the original and has just used an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier to make additional copies.

Yeah, the item in the photos looks like original notes, but it clearly says you're going to get a scan.

Too bad, the original would be worth a bid.  Looks like a decent piece of work.

Greg Stafford has a 3rd print Woodgrain set up:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

The auction title lists it in "Great Shape", but if you read the description thats not necessarily the case.  I will say though that if this goes higher than my 1st print, I am going to freak out....

Well either that or I am going to relist mine with just one picture of part of the box top and list it in great condition...

Has anyone figured out yet which printing of Chainmail this is?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1

The part that caught my interest was:

This is a bound-leaf book of 44 pages

Could be a silver cover, stapled copy.  Is "bound-leaf" a printing term?  Doesn't sound like a spiral-bound copy.  I asked, but haven't received an answer.

Actually Stephen, I didn't even know that was there, but to me bound-leaf would indicate that it s spiral bound copy. :)   IMO, if it was stapled, then the seller would not have even mentioned it, as thats how most books are bound.  Of course, it would certainly be benficial if the seller would in fact confirm exactly which it is.

Official or not, who produced such items is a virtual genius! I have never laughed for an auction so long (I especially liked the DM in Training piece...).

I was sorely tempted on that one.  (She's still too young to play Bunnies & Burrows, Fuzzy Heroes, or appreciate the plush d20 on as many levels as I do...)
