Hey guys, can you help my friend Mark?  He asked me the following question?

"I was looking on Wikipedia this weekend to see what they had written about various old modules, and I kept coming across a reference to a list of Greatest Adventures of All Time. For example, Keep on the Borderlands is ranked the 7th best adventure of all time. I know Dungeon Magazine is who did the ranking, and it was done as part of D&D's 30th anniversary, but I haven't been able to find the list itself, nor can I find the ranking criteria ( e.g., sales, user feedback, etc.). I don't suppose you've come across this list, have you?"

It was discussed on this forum some time ago. If you search the forum enough, you will find it...good luck.

And for what it is worth, no way Keep is the seventh best adventure of all time. Give me a freaking break. I am not even sure it is the seventh best out of the B series...okay...it is in the top four or so of the B series, but you get my point.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Okay, I tried the search.  I found a lot on what "we" think is the best modules out there but no reference to any published list of rankings.  Anybody else out there that can help?

I think you want to go back further than the Dungeon 30th anniversary. It seems they did that list earlier - 25th anniversary?

Martin,  I just bumped one of the original threads about it:
