I don't want to tread on anyones toes, so I'll ask:

I trade in roleplay stuff, I used to sell to my roleplay group and accumulated a fair bit of stock. I run a roleplay club for over 15 years, played varous systems since 1980ish. I am at present selling it all on ebay and ebid. First question: Is the classifieds section for traders? I won't mention my trade names if I'm not allowed to (if I do I'm sure I'll get some flack for the pricing - but since I got no accurate idea... I'd rather be too high than too low).

I found this site a while back, just been looking around to see what prices things should go for. My interests are basically to sell off my 500 odd new items and about 400 used items (could be more). I have my own private collection and will not be selling that.

I have also used BookFinder and BookSearch to value items, apart from ebay. Is there anywhere else to use?

Can I link to here from my websites (favourite links etc)?

The classifieds can serve a couple purposes.

List your items and wait for people to reply.

Link your ebay auctions.

I would not list hundreds of items. Just give us a basic idea of what you have and if somebody needs something, they can PM or email you.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

The best places to check for prices are on Ebay, or other used RPG dealers like Titan Games or NobleKnight Games.

Thanks for the replies  :D

I posted on the classifieds, please feel free to have a good laugh.  :P

I will list more as and when time permits. I will adjust prices where I see a need. I don't want to fleece anyone, but I don't want to sell too cheap either. This little lot cost me a fair bit and I hope to make something out of my investment. Carriage is for signed delivery which Paypoo insist on, ask about other methods if you want.

I noticed a fair number of people linking from here back in May, I just wondered...which thread I was on? Probably the 'This seller must be joking thread', I don't mind I got thick skin. :P  I'm interested in what people think (oh dear now I gone an' done it).

Hi Rocky-Waist.

I am really sorry - someone should have told you that we do have one protocol to fulfil before posting on the classifieds section.  All goods must be passed before an 'assessor' - who can choose to purchase your best and most interesting items at 75% discount before they are listed.  That assessor is me - so in short, you should really have offered to sell your best stuff to me at a discount before offering it to the rest of the peasants here.

Good luck with your sales.  :D

Sorry I was trying to be careful too, by asking here. I misunderstood bbarsh's post. bbarsh didn't mention the pecking order... I don't want to upset anyone here.  :)
