Howdy Folks,

I am just about to jot off a hard copy letter to send via snail mail to the UK. David has been absent from the boards for over a month now and I am a bit worried about him.

Last year when he sent something from the UK to the US for me he was laid up in the hospital and had to have his folks mail it.

Mayhaps somebody over in Britain ought to check in on him? (I have his address if you need it to make contact.)

Hopefully nothing is seriously wrong but for David to be quiet for so long has me worried. (Emails and PM's I have sent to him have, of course, gone unanswered. His last visit to the forum was Aug. 24th.)

Hopefully, I'm not being too much of a busy body.

Futures Bright,

Paul

Paul

i was just thinking the same thing yesterday, funnily enough. i have a few things to send him on monday, which i am doing collectively for a few peeps and had the intention of asking him to contact me urgently.

it may well be that he is snowed under with work or something to that effect?

will let you know if i hear anything. i would drive over but he lives a fair way away from me. Ian lives a lot closer.

Al

Are we nearly there yet?

If anyone does hear from, let us know.

It could be just a case of being busy. I think I just went about a month without posting here...or even lurking. Time has a way of just evaporating sometimes.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I'm pretty sure he's around, but don't want to say more than that.

I suspect that he may just be busy.  As looking at his ebay bidding history, his last bid was a snipe on Shane's Tac Cards back on the 9th.

Now assuming that he set that snipe even on the fist day that it was listed, that is stll a good 9 days after his last official visit here.  In the last few months when I have spoke with him via PM(its been awhile since I last spoke with him as well), he had expressed a desire to perhaps scroll back a bit, so that very well could be what is going on now.  Hopefully, he will make contact with someone just to confirm that that is the case.

Did you say that you had spoken to him recently?

Ok, ok, I'll fess up.

The truth is I cast Quest and compelled him to determine the exact printing & release dates of the UK Basic set.  (He made the saving throw, but strangely enough decided to give it a shot anyway...)

Hope he comes back soon.

Howdy All,

Good news! Thanks all. Glad it is nothing serious. I'll still send off a letter.
