Hi All,

we have had very few orders for South Africa until recently, when we had 4 orders to there (new game thats taken off there).

However, 2 of these orders have gone astray in the post.

We have had very little international mail go missing until this - maybe one piece a year or so.

Anyone else had problems to South Africa please?

Cheers,
Malcolm

maybe sent 6/7 items in the last year and a half - not a problem with any of them. (But don't get me started on Italy!)

I Never ship to south Africa, never will.  I have heard absolute horror stories from a friend who lived there for a time.  Approximately 50% of his mail ever arrived, and almost everything had been opened.  Anything of a monetary nature (check, money order) was gone.  About half the time goods were gone, if not, they had been rifiled through already. They have one of the absolute worst mail services in the world, and most of the employees supplement their incomes with items stolen going out of or coming into the country.  My advice is to not deal with them unless you want to refund a lot of lost packages. BTW, the only item I ever mailed there (to my friend) never arrived....

I'm the same way, but I'm pretty picky on the countries I ship to anyway.  (As of right now I currently ship regularly to Canada, Australia, Japan, UK, Germany, Switzerland, France & Norway though I can be persuaded to ship to most of Europe)

just a heads up for y'all really, relating to South Africa. a friend of mine who works for the bank my work uses, comes from South Africa.

i mentioned this situation for her and asked for her thoughts on it.

her reply "my mother still lives there. i send her nothing valuable as it will always go missing".

i think that pretty much sums things up for you.
