I picture the Burntwire brothers as Siamese twins...possibly an evil one and a good one...who share, like, the same heart or something.

They secretly despise each other's moral code but are forced to work together like Dennis Quaid and that lizard guy in Enemy Mine.

Couldn't be the heart or the head; they would have imploded or strangled each other or some such from that kind of schizoid behavior. They're prbably joined at the spine, perpetually facing away from each other, never being able to look one another in the eye, each secretly sure that the other is making mocking faces...

I won't be able to attend but Goodman Games is releasing a 1E version of their 12.5 module as a GenCon special. If anyone that is going would be willing to pick me up a copy of this I would be very appreciative. Here is the message about this on Dragonsfoot...

Sadly, you have to subtract one from the list.  The wife has become ill and I will no longer be able to attend.  To those who are going, have fun, I will gaze to the west longingly.

I would be appreciative if someone could pick one up....if I am able to get a copy online after the con, I could let some other worthy have my copy for cover price.  But I will definitely pay full price plus any shipping and extra fees.....I hate to overburden Shane with having to pick up umpteen copies, can anyone else grab one for me? PM me if you can, if I don't hear from anyone I'll PM you Shane....

Okay..

I should also mention I'll need confirmation by early Tuesday afternoon, after that I won't have access to my computer.

To the list, fine. Those who preplanned will be getting some Special Stuff, tho, and can gloat later (and scan & show as well). ::evil cackle::

After the stories from this one get out, our ACE gathering may double in size next year... especially if the UK contingent comes en masse. ;>

Reminder: If you've got pricey items in your Want List, be sure we have an email/Paypal addy at least, and preferably a charge/debit card number on file.

There WILL be a D&D brownbox with original textured covers on the books, The DMG Editing Manuscript, the original Kuntz manscript for his article in Dragon #11 (Brawling), original black & white artworks (including Bell, Darlene, and Elmore), and other 'way cool stuff.

If you have a sudden urge to place a proxy, call the Convention Center during the day (8a to 5p EDT) Wed. thru Sat. and ask for the Auction Room. You also might be able to get me directly that way, tho I'm pretty busy.

Brought a camera for the 1st couple of years, I just don't take enough pictures so have stopped doing that. Maybe use my cell phone, but no promises.

Okay so far I have 12 to pick up (guess Goodman Games is my first stop), so hopefully they have them then and not 'coming on a UPS truck be here whenever..'

To answer some questions:
No need to send money, I have enough funds or ability to pay as there are plenty of ATMs around if they don't take a credit card.

Shall work out details later for payment/shipping

Probably less then 24 hours to get a request for one of these in.
