Wow:  no one commented on the OD&D 1st yet:  $5100 @
** expired/removed eBay auction **

That's an all-time record for any D&D item, isn't it?

Over here, gro'; viewtopic.php?p=60045&highlight=#60045

(Their 2nd GH was a more noteworthy price, IMO: about equal rarity in that condition).

Yep, the Greyhawk was high: I didn't expect that level of snipe.

We all probably got a bit infected by Woody fever (dangerous condition: can melt plastic at 3000 miles).

Still think the $5,000+ is the bigger story...

Well I can honestly say that despite my feelings about "collecting" versus "buying to use"...that that's a set I wouldn't use if I got it.

fifty one hundred dollars...that's like a third the price of my Saturn when I bought it new...!

Anyone with a 2nd GH in that condition, please raise your hands now and optionally let me know what your selling price would be, if not $53. :)

I agree with you.  I thought the GK Greyhawk was a bit low.  I have noticed that other GK products typically do much better than later prints:  Star Patrol and Tricolor come to mind.

Raises hand tentatively.

Hard to tell from the pic, but appears close to the condition of mine.

Now by this logic, my autographed OCE should get me what, seven, eight hundred at least? ;)

Now by this logic,

I don't think logic really enters in to an auction like this!!

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

That's a weird buy-it-now price.

Very weird BIN.
But pulled 'cause of the art.
It'll be back with a fresh pic, I'm sure.

Does anyone know what the number on the one for sale is?  I take it that it is not 181 the one in the picture.

*rofl*. Does this seem so high, now, for pretty much the best copy around?

There's barely a few months between the prints and the 2nd GH is still well into Woodgrain territory (i.e. print run should be 2,000 tops).
