This and the FR Atlas have alot of D&D and novel cross-appeal, since they detail alot of the stuff in the novels as well.  Plus the art is pretty first rate, they have great layouts, and all in all are pretty entertaining to read.  More or less worthless as a game aid, but fun to read.

Rather suprised that WotC isn't resurrecting this considering the continuing popularity of Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms novels.
