kevayn - nobody is trying to take sides here and there is no need to go on an insulting roll.

you never resolve anything like that.

fwiw....portals of twilight is very common, the guy had more than one, and he offered to send another free of charge.....surely that would have been worth it?

well anyway, its achieving nothing by posting up insulting msgs like that. sure chummer, get your point across...surely it can be done without insulting the guy?

KJ32,

I'd already gotten another module for my buddy from an off eBay source locally before the offer came from Dead. No biggie - if I had ended up with 2 I would have just resold it on eBay. Oh wait - I'm still getting emails from Frank saying I have bought from him, he knows who I am, and that I have never sold anything on eBay. Insults posted publicly have some modicum of honor - those that come solely by private mail are for cowards IMO.

As you say though - no further sense doing so here in this forum. My points made.

LOL! WOW!
Get this:

His seller acount is baronthorne.
I remember this fucking idiot now. I bought the EXACT module from him! Last year. I bought a bunch of mods from him, after e-mailing him to ask if he combined shipping. He said he did, then sent me separate invoices for each one. I asked him why they weren't combined, and he said he never claimed he would combine them. His scam is the typical one: Put up a 99 cent BIN and claim to offer combined shipping, then lie about it.
So I ponied up the money for shipping in 7 separate payments. What does the asshole do? Combine shipping. He charges $4 for EACH media mail package, total of $28 shipping. Then sends one package. Payment was made on May 2nd, he SHIPPED on May 16. I have it AAAAAALLLLLLLL in Paypal logs, jackass!
So, Maxine2, you have been fingered. Liar AND thief. Anyone who wants a copy of the Paypal transaction log need only e-mail me.

...
Contacted Seller MANY times over the next 10 days asking about tracking number, item sent?, refund? Yes!. until I finally got my refund in my PayPal account on May 22nd 06.

I'm sorry, but 22 days from payment to refund with 2 - 3 days in between some email replies WITH Priority Mail shipping is a bit much for a $100 item or a $1 item which was for a friends collection.

I make that 16 days from the date of sending.

Sounds not unreasonable for a full refund, given that most sellers will allow 10-14 days for payment in the first place - and that's simply a matter of pressing a button, rather than waiting for the USPS to do their business then trying to determine whether the item actually arrived or not.

This is wonderfully funny to me.

Yeah, that is ONE of the accounts I sold items under about a YEAR ago.

What you're not telling these folks is that you misread my auctions - see I remembered you now too after I got your PayPal refund and emails from your personal email - I never promised combined shipping. Why would you pay $28 in shipping for the 7 auctions if you did not agree to it? How does that become MY fault?

As for your claim of a retaliatory bid now - that is ludicrous. I wait a year and then when I search for you under the name you were using at the time and it comes up zero I go the extra mile to track you down and somehow ARRANGE this screwed up transaction JUST so I can give you a Negative feedback.

Yeah - I guess it is 16 days I actually waited for the item. Guess not everyone sees it your way Frank. And I'll bet eBay will find it hard to believe your story of a retaliation when they see that YOU refunded me due to not delivering the item. So pleased I was able to arrange your shipping errors so that I could post Neg Feedback. LOL

Please continue wasting more time here. It amuses me greatly on a rainy afternoon.

Really, Kev, just let us know when it's for sure ...

Certainly, you have a right to tell your version of events, but, man, you have not done yourself any favors with your first six posts here. You're coming across as just another scam artist who has an answer for everything, and we've already seen that a thousand times ... maxwell, creepie, JonB I, II, and III, cougie (who definitely lurks here **hi, Cougar!!**), and on and on ... I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple of clowns. Not that it matters that much; they're all interchangeable.

Multiple accounts? How convenient ... and I'm sure there's never been any shilling going on there. Refusing to combine shipping — something ANY reputable seller would do — on on easily shipped lot? Other than simple greed, what could possibly be your motive for that? Using a general air of dismissiveness and superiority with a valued member of The Acaeum community who has been here 10,000 times longer than you? A capital idea! Buying pictures of a stranger's wife (and/or shilling an auction of a buddy of yours)? That is the height of maturity and responsibility ... well, no, it's actually pretty damn disturbing.

That amusement goes both ways, pal, believe me.

"Really, Kev, just let us know when it's for sure ..."

I am done bantering the point with Dead. The rest of you perhaps not.

Multiple accounts are not illegal on eBay - using them to shill your own auctions IS. Are you also in the business of unfounded accusation with Dead?

Refusing to combine shipping? What is wrong with some greed? I'm on eBay to give away modules for a buck and not get a little bit of handling out of the deal? $4 for shipping a module isn't at all bad. To be honest, it's been a LONG time, but I doubt that I sent them "all in one box". And as for this point having any merit at all - why pay for it before you confirmed it?

As for - using a general air of dismissiveness and superiority with a valued member of The Acaeum community who has been here 10,000 times longer than you - He's nothing to me and honestly this forum hasn't made me a dime so I speak as I see fit. Should I kiss some ass to gain respect?  :D Not gonna happen as I don't need the respect here.

Shilled what auction? You apparently read way too much into written lines dude.

"Certainly, you have a right to tell your version of events"

Gee thanks for the permission slip. It's an open forum - one into which Frank brought this story. I simply brought the other side.

Glad to have provided amusement - seems fair to me.

Actually, asshat, I was just trying to be civil. Given your contributions here (that would be zilch, except for some unintentional humor) and Frank's (many years' worth), you have no right to anything, as far as I'm concerned.

Everything we need to know about you, encapsulated in six words.

Although this is kind of good to know, too ...

Oh, wait, that's right, you have an answer for everything ... you were "surfing eBay drunk." Which is perfectly ... uh ... plausible.

X, your civility needs some work then.

As for those pics - why are you obsessing on them? It's a naked girl - if you have never seen one - I have some pics for you. Shoot me an email address.

Keep going, brother. I have never, ever seen someone dig such a huge hole ... it's fascinating in sort of a train-wreck way.

Cave In.

The more you type, the more you reinforce the impressions we all have of you. Are you not learning anything?

As for having to buy your porn on eBay. That's just embarrassing. And so is your taste in women if the picture above is anything to go by.

As usual, Al is our voice of reason in a sea of animosity, calling us back from the brink of saying something we might regret. :)

Seriously, though, I'm adding this clown to the Shady Sellers thread, with a link back to page 4 of this thread. We're looking at a textbook example of an eBay "seller" (defined very loosely) to avoid, and I want to make sure no Acaeum members get burned.

I wouldn't let my dog do that broad. Unless I fed him a six-pack first. Even then, he'd hate me the day after.
So, Kevaint, Al is perhaps right. You've been exposed as an idiot. I guess I'm done raking you over the coals. The good thing is I will be able to reverse the negative, not that it matters much since it is mostly the good folks here that I buy/sell/trade with. But at least we all can add you to the Dumbass/Don't buy/Don't Sell list, which is the purpose of this thread.
I should still have the "sure, I'll combine shipping" e-mail somewhere. Either way, when I paid for individual shipping in the end, that is what I should have gotten.
Enjoy the module. This was well worth it! In fact, if you agree to post once a week here, so we can tool on your ugly-broad-loving ass, I'll agree to ship you my other 2 Portals, so you can have 3. Deal?
