Now back to your regularly scheduled White Plume mt revision....

heh yeah they are an absolute blast - saw them a while back :D

ah but you see, while everyone has a dice 20, chuck has a dice 30, just cos he's so cool and he gets +20 to hit cos hes such a badass. his dice starts at 2 cos the dicemaker shit himself when he found out who the dice was for :D

Chuck got PO'd at the universe once before, hence the "Big Bang" theory.
Chuck's aura is so powerful, even trees manage to run away.

I think Keraptis ought to be powerful but not unbeatable.

I ran an alternate ending to WPM years ago and had the party fighting a Keraptis who was a 14th M-U/12th Ill. It worked very well.

I loaded his spell book with misdirection, non-detect type spells and had him fight them through a hallucinatroy wall at the back of a huge, dim cavern (placing him near his escape tunnel). They spent countless rounds fighting monsters (demi and real) and multiple mirror images, et al. I made full use of envirnomental obstacles (flamable materials, stalactites, the edge of a nearby laval pool with a small island) to extend the ploy.

Loads of fun and the best part is that the party ran him down as he tried to make his escape but he breached an underground lava levee that destroyed his treaure, himself and two party members.

To this day, it is the standard by which my remaining friends in gaming rate my modules.

Yes, but:

Q:  Have you heard about the guy who insulted Warduke and lived?
A:  No...and just you think about that.

Q:  Why is Warduke left-handed?
A:  He's giving his enemies a chance.

Q:  Why does Warduke conceal his face?
A:  Turns out, looks can kill.

Q:  Why does Warduke wield a shortsword?
A:  Dude, you ask if you want!  I ain't gonna!

Q:  Where did Warduke go to kindergarten?
A:  Temple of Elementary Evil

Q:  Exactly why is there a "vault" of the drow?
A:  That's where Warduke keeps them.

Q:  What is Warduke's favorite band?
A:  QUEEN of the Demonweb Pits.

Q:  Whatever happened to Zelligar and Rogan?
A:  Warduke went in search of adventure.

Q:  What was the Shrine of Tamoachan actually hiding from?
A:  Warduke.

Q:  What does Warduke eat for breakfast?
A:  Egg of the Phoenix.

Q:  Whatever happened to Tsojcanth?
A:  Warduke misplaced her.

Q:  Why is Iuz so old?
A:  Warduke scared the hell out of him.

Q:  Why are they called the "Forgotten" Realms?
A:  Silence, you fool!  Warduke told us never to mention them again!

and, finally:

Q:  Why did they publish extra monster manuals?
A:  Warduke demanded more things to kill.

Q:  Whatever happened to TSR UK?
A:  They dared to show Warduke the Fiend Folio.

Contemplate this!

It's a little known fact that Dieties and Demigods was origanlly published as a "short solo adventure for Level one Chuck Norris characters" however during playtesting Chuck killed every being in the book just by rolling initiative using the Moon as his D20.

Q:  What happened to the original Deities and Demi-gods?
A:  Warduke mistook the book for an all-you-can-eat menu.

Q: Whatever did happen to Warduke?
A: Chuck could sense him on the same planet, so Warduke just winked out of existence.

Q:  Why is Warduke an imaginary character?
A:  So Chuck Norris won't have nightmares.

Chuck? I still say Bruce Lee could take him even with all of Chuck's newly aquired powers!

I have vague memories of a 70's B-movie where Bruce Lee does beat a young Chuck Norris...

Well, it is both RETURN of the Dragon and WAY of the Dragon.  The film has several names:

Original name:  Meng long guojiang

aka names:

Fury of the Dragon (Europe: English title)
Return of the Dragon
Revenge of the Dragon (USA) (cable TV title)
Way of the Dragon

Actually, I do know.  BTB is right...the film has two English names.

Way of the Dragon is the name Bruce Lee gave it.

Return of the Dragon is the name that it usually appeared under in America.
