Ze Google, it does nothink!

I've got 9 cardboard standups, named:

Tormaq/Felspel
D'Tan Troll
Lake Hydra
Sprite
Ogres
Ogre
Young Man
Stone Giant

Anyone remember where these are from?

Got pics? May help to find out where they are from.
Only suggestions right now is either Fiery Dragon, or an old TSR product that used them (Eye of Traldar sp? or its sequel) or one of the adventure sets.

O1: The Gem and the Staff?

I know it had a pre-gen character named "Eric" & the tri-fold page inside the cover had those cardboard figures you could cut-out. Tormaq & Felspel also sound familiar - I think they were MUs in the modules.

yeah i was thinking that too. could well be right - they are the card cutout figures that are attached to the back of the module.

Definitely.  "Tormaq's Tower" is half of O1.

I gave O1 to my friend Eric at a birthday party when we were about 10. His family was quite amazed that the character was also named "Eric". I had no idea - it was shrinkwrapped when I picked it out. Just a happy coincidence.

Though I don't remember using it much if at all. Later I got my own copy - which I recently sold on Ebay. It was unused/uncut. I believe it was part of a lot of 10 D&D (Mystara/Known World) modules that went to a fellow in the Army headed to Iraq...
