I wouldn't pay that much for a shrink version.

Guess money is not an object for some peeps...

I don't know....

These are pretty hard to find in good condition.

His bid is right on target with Acaeum prices.

(I'd probably try to get it cheaper myself too!   )

More power to the seller though! 8)

I think the price is getting a bit silly (the module is not that rare, nor is it very good). However, I've dealt with the seller a number of times before, and he's first class - so more power to him for doing so well on the sale.

Look what Vaexpat paid for this item!

Now that's just plain stupid.

But I'm actually more surprised that someone actually buys these :

Do you think that was original shrinkwrap on the B3!!???

I have seen that magical item book before... looks like someone made it in their basement.

I guess if its the "book TSR didn't want you to know about", they succeeded.  I can't believe someone would pay $30 for that...  use some imagination and make up your own magical items!

Here's what really get's my goat:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... =2545&rd=1

Seller states:  "You are bidding on the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons first edition module, S2, White Plume Mountain, the original pastel version."

Nowhere in the listing does he tell you that it is a Silver Anniversary Reprint.  I'm sure he has caught many an unsuspecting newbay with this tactic.  Fortunately the auction didn't go too high in price...

Huh?

The Acaeum lists it at $25 in shrink.

Vaexpat is buying for $56. I think he's a guy who doesn't like to loose auctions...
