obiter:  email Rob NOW:  the final proofs will be arriving in today's mail, and you likely can still get your name fixed.

Any word on other sales for this project?  Any distributing plans?

I hadn't understood that it was only 500 total copies.  I thought that 500 was the initial pre-orders goal.  Still, with all the subsequent profit on 500...let's guess $3 on each...$1500 isn't a bad writer's payoff in gaming.  I hope it's more.

I think I'm right in saying it was an initial numberred and signed print run of 526 copies.

I doubt PPP have ruled out the possibility of a later unnumberred printing, or a 3E D&D conversion, or an ESD release for that matter. Only PPP know what the future holds but I imaine there are some here who could quell speculation.

Sale by PDF strikes me as inevitable.

I can't remember if the copies we bought pre-publication are going to be signed or not.

An edition published by someone like Troll Lords Games strikes me as a good idea...which would make the copies we bought here that more valuable.

nothing wrong with having a 2nd print or conversions etc. if the $ is there to do that, then it would seem silly not to take it - its not like its going to hurt any value that would build on the 1st print copies or even the runic copies is it?

I know there are 26 "Runic" copies, but I don't think it follows that there will be 526 copies. The numbered copies might run from 1 to 474! ;) Of course, my experience with printers is that they are seldom so exact, and there might be 512, 520, or even 526 copies printed. You never know.

I doubt PPP have ruled out the possibility of a later unnumberred printing, or a 3E D&D conversion, or an ESD release for that matter. Only PPP know what the future holds but I imaine there are some here who could quell speculation.

I think a D20 conversion is likely if there is a market for it. Apparently there's not much of a market for 1e-compatible stuff in continental Europe.

Btw, the Tower of Blood sponsorship will be announced on the PPP site soon, probably early this evening (EST).

Rob told me that only 500 were printed, no more! The first 500 will be numbered and signed. Anything after that will be a regular unsigned module.

I know he's looking into the d20 aspect of it, too. I have no idea what he has planned for it though (i.e. signed, numbered, etc.).
