Special thanks to Deadlord39 and bclarkie for reasons known only to them from beginning to end.Up for sale next week will be the black-foldered Palace of the Vampire Queen that I bought from Rick Bauer in Bahrain. It's the one that precipitated the infamous "camel-toe" incident that some of you may remember. Ah, yes, those were heady days indeed.-Stephen

Just before someone directed me to this site my friends and I thought the boxed set of World of Greyhawk was the rarest D&D item I know what you mean. I had never heard of or even seen a white box rules much less a woodgrain growing up. The Erol Otus basic set is the first D&D item I remember seeing in stores. Not long after I joined the forum, I got together with Badmike and Aneoth and became a bit embarassed while we were talking about the rare items we had.Went something like this:Aneoth: "I just picked up an Orange B3 and a first print Chainmail. They will look really nice next to my R1-4, RPGA 1-4, and mint Woodgrain set."Badmike: "Somewhere in the warehouse of stuff I have are a lot of really rare non-tsr items by publishers like Mayfair, Judges Guild, The Companions, etc. I also have a ton of rare Call of Cthulhu, Runequest, etc, etc, etc."Kingofpain89: "I just picked up Greyhawk Ruins and Iuz the Evil."Needless to say, both of them looked at me kinda funny when I said that (dont deny it Mike ). But over the last couple of years I have been able to expand on my knowledge and collection....all due to this site and the people here. If I didnt collect this stuff I would be a whole lot richer moneywise and have a whole lot more time on my hands. Course I would also probably have no friends and be addicted to porn.
