You know, taking a closer look at that sticker on the back of the box, it looks a hell of a lot like the Witch Tree on the southwestern shore of Lake Superior.

It reminds me of some of the scenes from "The Ring".

In fact, I bet the winner receives a phone call about a week after it arrives.

"Seven Days". That must be the amount of time you have to pay. Otherwise a revenant crawls out of the box.

It'll top $2k.  Unless people are holding out for a 1st print for some reason.  I suppose it depends on when bidders get their tax refunds.

THis should be fun, less than 1 minute to go.  I am guessing $1978.77

Damn I was close.  $1915.00 to someone I have never heard of before.

<edit> Actually I just bought some Dungeon Magazines from that guy a few weeks ago.

If the guy was not so paranoid about Paypal I would have outbid that by a few hundred.  Oh well, another time :(

In his Dungeon Magazine auction that I just checked that I won, he referenced that he was selling off all of his D&D stuff yet in the last 3 weeks he drops almost $2k on a woodgrain and another $300 on a 4th print White Box. Guess he is changing his mind. :?

Just an investor with lots of cash to spend? Nothing to worry 'bout.

I thought about asking a few of you guys about that, but after e-mailing the guy back and forth a few times about payment I really got to wondering why he would not accept Paypal from out of country!  I just did not want to deal with him :? He was inflexible and paranoid!  I just decided to stay away.

Thanks for the offer Brian, I will take you up on it at a later date.

Jeff
