BeyondtheBreach's generous give-aways have motivated me to give away some of my own "garbage". Save it from being given to Goodwill!

Lite Rules:
It's just a few things (for now) so let's limit each person to 1 item.
First to post in this thread claims the item. I'll probably ship on Saturday. If you are in the U.S., it'll be free media mail shipping. If you are overseas and you can PayPal me, I can send for cost of flat-rate Global Priority Envelope (e.g., Canada $7.50; UK/France/Australia $9.50, etc).

Okay, here's the "garbage" - all stuff I bought back in the 80s:

-Oriental Adventures - cover is good, pages are clean, and it's autographed by me in pencil ( :D ), but the spine is "broken" and two blocks of pages are loose: pages 3-14 and 15-22. My original copy, never used it much and it doesn't have enough artwork.

-Dragontales magazine (fiction compilation put out by Dragon magazine, includes stories by Tom Moldvay and Roger Moore) - interior pages are generally clean, but the cover is fugly. Front cover has some gunk on it (toothpaste?  8O ) and the back cover has heavy scuffing and waviness. Bought this at a used bookstore in crunchy Bellingham, WA.

-Star Frontiers Alpha Dawn Rules - Basic Game Rules booklet only. VG. That's right, just one of the two booklets from the Alpha Dawn box set. A friend left this over at my house way back when, and I still have my own set. Has a price tag on the cover.

-DC Heroes RPG - SIEGE Module. VG/EX. I think I got this free, never actually bought the RPG.

-Batman RPG. Mayfair Games, 1989. VG. Some staining on the edge of the first few pages. The DC Heroes rules from a Batman-centric point-of-view. Why did I buy this? Michael Keaton, you have a lot to answer for.

-DC Comics WARLORDS Graphic novel, 1983. VG. This is some kind of tie-in with the Atari 2600 Warlords game. Bought this at a used bookstore. Has a price tag on the cover from an ill-conceived attempt to sell it at a streetside yardsale.

-Bored of the Rings, paperback, First Printing 1969. G. Moderate cover wear, some splitting of cover from spine at top and bottom. Looks decent. Make friends with Tim, Tim Benzedrine and the dread Ballhog.

I will sign anything on request.

By the way, I am looking for a "garbage" copy of the Gamma World 1st Edition rulebook. It can even be missing (certain) pages. I got one from BeyondtheBreach in his first give-away, but it's missing some pages. Please PM me if you have one you could "throw" my way.

If no one has claimed Bored of the Rings I would love it. I had a friend let me read his years ago.

I'll grab Star Frontiers. :)

There are no bad editions of D&D, just Boring Players and Unimaginative DMs.

Hey Zhowar,

Do you have the map of the United States from the Gamma World set?  I'm pretty sure I have an extra floating around here someplace.

Let me know if you want it.  (that is, assuming I can find it).

IIRC, wasn't "Garbage Pits of Despair" the title for a two-part Dave Arneson adventure published in Different Worlds?  Was that intentional zhowar?

No, I don't have it. That would be great. I have the GW 2nd Edition box set & nice copies of GW1 and 2, but not the (complete) GW 1E booklet, nor the map.

Yes, you are right & it was intentional. I first heard of this adventure a few months ago and picked up DW #42 & #43 in December. It's an interesting adventure. Arneson's got a unique authorial style. It's almost narrated like a story.

I'd like the Oriental Adventures, if no one has claimed it yet.

Only the Batman RPG and the DC Heroes SIEGE module are left.

Since these are both for the same system, I'll offer a two-fer one special and let one person claim both.

The Batman RPG has a 6-pg Solo Adventure where you get to play "The Batman"

If you still have them, I'll take the Batman RPG.

Yup, sure. Just the Batman, not SIEGE?

I sent out everything yesterday. Most were sent media mail; a few were light enough that 1st class was cheaper.

I wanted to let you know I got the book. I have not started reading it but hope to this weekend. Thanks you again. I hope you got the GW stuff you needed and sorry that I did not have it to give.
