Greetings, one and all!

I've been asked by Rob to pass along this information and to ask for your assistance. He is currently in the development process of releasing some of his adventure/sourcebooks in a 1ed compatible form. He's interested in knowing whether or not there is ample support for the type of venture.

And, that's where you come in!  :D  If you could be so kind as to follow this link to Dragonsfoot and let us know what you think, it would be greatly appreciated!! Rob states that he has alot of early Greyhawk adventures that would dearly love to see the light of day! But without any support, it's not likely to happen! So, be a good sport and let us know what you think!!

Just a little bump here to remind everyone that is interested to vote!! I know one of the the adventures he would like to release is the The Lost City of the Elders!! It can't be done without your help - starting to sound like the people at PBS!  8O

So, please take a moment and vote, YES!!  :D

Have voted. Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Pity if LCotE has had to have some of the Lovecraftian elements (stated as Lovecraftian "feel" on the GREYHAWK-L list) that the original might've had edited out for copyright reasons.
The Mythos monsters in RJK's red book were certainly old enough to be contemporaneous with that and his adventure outlines incorporating those (alongside Greyhawk *g*) are fun! :D

Rob has posted over on PPP that the first adventure to potentially be released is "THE CAIRN OF THE SKELETON KING". So, if this is up your alley, cast a vote!!

Thanks!!

Posting another update! Due to the overwhelming response, Rob has decided to push on with his project. The first module to be released is definitely going to be "CAIRN OF THE SKELETON KING" (lvls 4-7) and will be released soon (no exact date yet, but soon!). Be sure to bring your cleric and lots of healing!!  :D

With that said, Rob would still like to hear from those who may not have voted yet! So, please, waddle on over to the DF forum site and make yourself heard!!

Thanks!

Rob gave me some details about the Cairn of the Skeleton King last night, and it sounds pretty good, and should appear to AD&D players in general, I think.

I'd pay more for an invisible module, actually.

The invisible lair of the blink dogs?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . minestrone soup.

Yes, in as much as it can be without crossing the line!  :D  Rob will be using the system he used with Garden of the Plantmaster and Maze of Zayene - Creations Unlimited. Uses some creative word substitution, but essentially first edition in every way!!  8)

The "Creations Unlimited" stats, for anyone who is interested, are much the same as those that appear in the Mayfair Games' "Role-Aids" series of modules. For example, "HTK = Hits To Kill" in place of HP or "hit points."
