Hey, everybody -

I've dropped by several times since Invincible Overlord hunted me down last summer - I'm afraid my memory of exactly what happened when at Wee Warriors is about as hazy as yours would be, if someone grilled you about events when you were a teenager :).

I was getting ready for an interstate move just then and wasn't able to go through my things to see if I had anything left over from those days.  It turns out that I do have just a few items, and I'm going to do some reverse grilling about what I should do with them.

For everyone who was in the recent Wee Warriors thread, though: you couldn't tell what I was trying to light?  Didn't you guys use jewellers clamps?  :)

Welcome, Morno!  Very nice to have you here.

If you're mulling selling those items, I would definitely be interested in seeing what you've got.

I just posted a few questions about them in the Appraisal Forum.

I am now officially labeling you The Artist Formerly Known as Morno. Pick a weird-ass symbol for your avatar, and when you speak, speak in a soft, womanly voice. End all sentences in a girlish squeak.
Oh, by the way, welcome!

My first wife went to high school with Prince.  She had some interesting - and fully unsurprising - stories to tell about him.

 Not that I know of.  Her stories related more to his prancing around with bodyguards in tow.

But he DID prance. I knew it. The Prancing Prince. I'm sure he thought D&D was beneath him. He should try 3E, they have the Faerie class now.

Ya know, my wife was a HUGE Prince fan back in the day (mostly before I met her).  She met a host of people through the Prince fan club (they used snail mail - how archaic!).  Interestingly, it seems that there were no shortage of Prince fans in London -she met several, went on a few work abroad programs, even stayed with Prince fans in London (surrounding areas) that she knew solely through the fan club.  I guess the "Prince store" used to be located there, but it is no longer in business.

Hey, did you know that Prince's real name is Prince Rogers Nelson?  I have a whole bunch of other Prince trivia bottled up in my head as well.  :D

(How come I remember all this stuff, but whenever I mention D&D or Spider-Man her eyes glaze over and she walks away?   )

My wife likes him too, but after the brownie incident, I can't razz her.
