The only thing I can think of that distinguishs him from other sellers is that he only ships to the USA.  This means he can quote Media Mail shipping rates in his auctions and appear less expensive.  :?:

I suppose it's possible he's runnning a massive shill network, but ask bclarkie to sort that out.  I don't know.

i dont agree with you: i´that's not a question of luck (of course you always need some luck in everything)... i had a look to the auctions you highlighted and what is extremely interesting is that 80% of his bidders are newbies...
coincidence or not?

Does this mean he is getting back in? :)

Well, as an example, now mind you maybe these newbies just don't know how to use the Search function on ebay, but I have a mono B1 sitting in my ebay store right now in about the same condition (actually, could be NICER), for a BIN of $15, yet mysteriously this copy has gone up to $48 overnight based on the bidding of an 8 feedback bidder active since October that mostly purchases very cheap Eberron items, but on closer look has purchases a couple of higher dollar items (a Chainmail at $80 or DA2 at $30) and shows a typical newbie type disregard for consistency.  However, it's the other id (EmperorClint) that makes me wonder.
This 18 feedback identity has not bid on anything since July, yet is suddenly in the thick of it in 7 auctions, five being for the aforementioned Harper.  This to me is a suspicious bidding pattern and should be watched.  Bugwart200 is another name that keeps popping up, he is bidding in every Harper auction, again off but he is bidding in many other auctions, so may be just a hope he can combine shipping with one seller if he wins multiple auctions.
What this means I don't know, it's left for better minds than mine (BC) to investigate, but from what I've seen from a day of messing around, there does appear to be more than newbie exuberance going on.  Definitely bears watching....

From a personal standpoint I hope so.  Aneoth is a really nice guy.  Like Badmike mentioned we havent seen or heard from him in quite a while.

From a collecting standpoint...I hope not!  j\k

Ian has his nice items at the price he's willing to accept.  Nothing wrong with that.

Also Mike, you happen to be lucky.  You live an area where you have an opportunity to finds lots of things locally that most of us don't have the fortune to have.   Like me for instance, I live in RPG blackhole of the universe, I mean there is nothing, and I mean nothing here what-so-ever.

Ever been to Boise, ID?  I thought we had the distinction of living in the RPG blackhole of the universe.  I don't think early D&D products were ever distributed here.
