Well it is for a case (i.e. 12) of them so I am figuring that would proabably be about right. :?

Bet that seller wishes he would have broken the case up and sold them individually.  :)

10 is one those issues, when complete, goes high. This may be a little too high...but there it is.

What do you suppose they were all looking to collect?  Looks to me like a smattering of junk.  :?

Probably the Ral Partha catalogs.  Some of them sell for $40+ separately.

Is that a Heritage Miniatures catalog?  That could fetch a pretty penny on its own; I guess looking at an eBay auction is the closest I'll ever get to owning one.

The 1985 Ral Partha Fantasy catalog (the one with the polar bears) is available for download as a PDF from whoever has the rights to the Ral Partha line.  Their 1985 Historical catalog is also available for download.  I don't remember the URL, but you can find it via Google.

This seller is pretty optimistic:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Second print Monster Manual is nice but everything else is pretty common or beat up.  The $40.80 shipping for priority is real nice too.    You would think with as many items as he is putting in the lot that the seller would take the time to list each one in a manner that would easily allow the potential buyer to view the list easily...but instead everything is crammed together.

It's like a bad resume.  Dont even read it...just move on.  :?

Is this really worth what the buyer paid for it:

Good question.  I think he paid FAR too much.

The buyer can always back out and sell to the second highest bidder :P

Extremely optimistic considering these items are still available at a lower COVER price.   8O

Notes to myself:  Next time check to see who the buyer is, and if he is an Acaeum member before posting.

I guess that it is worth that much.   8O
