Whoah! VGC, you say? Count me in! :)

+++++

Reason #78 that Cougie is a clown:

That listing contains 649 words (beginning with "VGC" and ending above the PayPal logo).

The description of the item (which sucks, but bear with me) contains 22 words ... the rest is made up of The Coug's laugh-out-loud rules and regulations. And 22 words is actually a lot for a Cougie description.

Or, put another way, 96.6 percent of that listing is just an endless recitation of do's and do not's. If we have any budding eBay sellers out there, take this as free advice: that is a percentage guaranteed to drive away many potential bidders.

+++++

Edit: whoops, forgot to wave to Cougie ...

<<Hi, Cougar, you lurking feline, you!>> :wink:

Formata:  Copertina morbida

Is this saying, in Italian, that the format of the publication is dead cardboard?

well, actually, it'd be "Formato"... anyway, copertina morbida it's meaning softback... soft=morbida, cover or back=copertina

morbida = soft?

copertina = cover?

So, "dead cardboard" was not really too far off of a  translation, was it?

<edit> BTW, the Coug added a new line to his about me page recently that really made me laugh:

:lol:

I try not to say anything Negative about the cat, but this made me laugh as well:

Its great to know I have sold more items on ebay than all their combined pitiful entire web site members jealous efforts.

Assuming we don't count Guido (who has only made a few posts) we have Badmike with a comparable amount of sales.

Plus, a combination of few others such as Myself, Deadlord, Killjoy, Clarkie, Reindeer, Vermillion, Xaxaxe and many others will easily exceed his sales.

Perhaps a better test would be to see how many members it would take to exceed the number of individuals who have left him negative feedback (47)  ?

(Actually, negative feedback is quite a bit higher since he has had many mutually withdrawn).

It would be a good test: 0 on 2855 for Beyonthebreach  8O (congratulations). Only 2 on 1130 for bclarkie, 1 on 1581 for killjoy, 1 on 1214 for vermillionfire, etc. It would be difficult to reach the 47 negatives on 6323 :)

hum no negative for me (but on a total of only 455 transactions). However I have some proud to have a 100% positive :)

$185 for an OCE..

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Judging from the bid list it doesn't look like it was battled up the heat of the moment.  The $185 winning bid was placed on the 11th and the same bidder came back earlier today and placed an EVEN HIGHER bid.  8O

Fairly nice set, but not a beauty by any means: badly rusted staples not noted.

I wonder what the prices were at GenCon, this time around!

AD&D Coloring book for $75?

It says its a first print but is it really worth that much?  I just paid under $10 for an uncoloured 3rd print.  Any difference between prints?

Given that another copy has been sat around for ages at $50 (not exactly a bargain, either, IMHO), I'd say that was a "no". ;)

We had several OCEs at GenCon that were NoSales at $100 (slightly tattered tho). We had a few others that didn't meet Reserves of $75 (even more tattered). Jaded gamer market praps.
