First I am glad someone else other than me won that. I had meant to pull that snipe before I left for work. I was getting bidder remorse in advance. I find it harder and harder to bid on character sheets. The last set I bought I had a hard time paying what I did and it was half the snipe I had on these. Driving home I thought..."Crap! I never cancelled the snipe   ..it would be just my luck if I actually got a snipe to work for a change.



Ok that said it is probably just too early for me and lack of coffee but I am not getting what you are saying here. The price the last one went for was higher IIRC. Is it crazy because it is too low? I can't see anything out of line with the picture...or is it one from here or something like that? Again could be me or environmental factors affecting me but I am missing something....or perhaps I was not meant to see the whole picture

Nah; last one was 1977 Lizard: this one is 1979 Wizard (still has 1977 copyright...).
"Value" probably around the $25-30 mark, tops, allowing for the faults.

I'd like to know what Frank's excuse was.

Very nearly did: I only upped my snipe when I saw I'd won the other auctions and the price was moving ahead.
Paid too much attention to the text and the picture just didn't kick me hard enough...!

I think it went high but only by a sliver. Those early sheets with Wham cover, whichever logo, are getting extremely hard to find.
