$1200 is absolutely insane.

I was shocked.

There are few others going on right now that are similarly nuts. Not to that degree, but module lots of around 25-35 containing totally standard mods (EX, early I series, L1, T1 (color), S (later prints), etc - basically rarity: super common) going for $200+ in moderate - to well used shape. Throw a couple HCs in and you can hit the proverbial jackpot. Prices have been on the rise...

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Gotta love ebay!  :D And to think I had posted it here for as low as $700 and no takers. I met the buyer in person yesterday (thank god it was a local purchase as I wasn't looking forward to shipping it) and he was very excited and pleased with his win. If the buyer is happy, and the seller is happy, everyone is happy!

Hey, don't get me wrong.  Congratulations on the sale.  I didn't say the seller was insane.

Holy Crap! That is totally insane! I didn't pay nearly that much for mine (granted, it was not shrink wrapped) but that is just way too much. That set can't possibly be considered that rare....can it? I guess if some one wants something bad enough.....  :?

Really no need for a smart ass remark on this one. The auction speaks for itself.

shrinked versions of this set usually go for around $40-60 max. And they come up every other month or so.

No, not even close.  I can only assume it's a typo of some kind (presumably $11.00).

But only 1 special person can buy it for this price. WOW!

I posted that auction initially on June 10th.  Big surprise it hasn't sold yet and no there is not a typo on the price.

Ignore the "shrinkwrap".  They re-shrink everything.

From the Coug

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Now I love this book (it's probably my favourite rulebook ever) BUT - this has a reserve on which makes it £50 in the UK!! - Am I missing something or is that a bit OTT?

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

These are common, but popular, due to the format.  £50 is definitely too much.
[edit]Ah shoot, just noticed that's a "Coug" auction.  Avoid that seller, anyway.  Just search the forums for ample reasons, I don't want to clog this thread up...

The Immortal set routines sells for far too much money.  The lot works out to $31.70 per set, and they're in reasonable condition, so with the savings on shipping, yada yada yada, this isn't so bad...but it's certainly not good.

I prefer the Compendium. It's better presented and it's all in one book.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
