My avatar does look like an undertaker, doesn't he.   :)

He looks to me like a Call of Cthulhu character....except that he's not rail thin and wracked with tuberculosis.

He was, however, doom haunted.   :(

That picture is in this months Dragon magazine on page 15. They are talking about the Conan MMORPG.

This seems about double what it is worth. Shipping is a killer too.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Actually, I think this is the only item that is still available from the Midkemia Press website for $5 so its actually about 10 times over priced.

No, no, you whack him with a complete set of the Conan pastiches by DeCamp and Carter. Those do extra acid damage (and they also lower intelligence and act as a Sleep spell).

Ah, fanboy humor ... there's just nothing like it. :)

Here's one that never gets old: Sombody thinks TSR's boxed AD&D miniatures are worth $40 BIN: auction. And he's got three other of the most common sets listed for the same price.

You know, I saw an unopened set of those pop up at a gaming convention in February.  The opening bid was $1, and nobody bid it.  That's how not-worth-it these things are.

At $1 they should have bid.  They will regret that they didn't...since up is the only direction from $1.

I like Star Frontiers as much as the next guy but not only does this seem to be just a bit on the high side but the bidders ID's are all kept private.  Wouldnt this allow the seller to shill the auction at will and no one would be the wiser?  :?

That's my understanding, which is why I wouldn't bid on any auction if I couldn't see who the other bidders are.

No bids from me on any items without a firm shipping and handling price.

The secret bidder list is a new one to me.  Hadn't thought about shill bidding.

Razzmatazz about french SW D&D boxes...

** sorry, I don't know if I can use the term razzmatazz for this kind of situation, but I learned it with Pulp (from Sheffield, I think Jarvis Cooker sang in the last Harry Potter movie or maybe I am totally wrong), and I don't have many opportunities to use it   **

As you can see, if you are a little interested in our tiny french market, prices can soar very fast with new ebayers. But these items were sold 2 weeks ago, and neither the seller nor the buyer had feedbacks for those items.

And the buyer's feedbacks make me think this transaction have aborted.
