I admit, a rather pedestrian and boring post for this thread in recent days...

I sold one just last week (seriously, last week) and it went for $25. Newbies need to bid war on MY items more often. :)

I'll save you some time; yours is definitely a first print.  (You can tell because the logo is over the blue-robed wizard's foot on the cover...no other printing is like that.)

And yeah, it's kinda odd that a 2nd printing variant is worth far more than the first, but there ya go...this stuff is confusing at times.  What'll really bake your noodle later on is that we have three 3rd printing variants listed, and nobody's ever confirmed successfully that they have one!  ;)

Just need to tear a few more of them apart, eh deimos? ;)

If I found a verifiable third printing, I would not be tearing that one apart.

I'm not knocking any buyers or sellers, but does T1 go for this much these days?  My first thought was a bidding war (I think I saw one go for under $20 last week), but I'm not sure.

To answer your question: no, T1 does not normally go for that much.  Ah, newbie bidders...

Not to mention that it is hardly a high quality copy...

No "cage matches" are forthcoming, I'm afraid.  :)

Or at least not from my end. The situation bothered me, I made my argument, and I'm not sure I've got more to add.

Plus ... bleh ... I'll be spending most of July moving and working (or was it working and moving?); the relatively easy days I had in May and June are about to come to a screeching halt. So I'll have much less time to debate or, more importantly, to download teh pr0n and terrorize teh n0ObZ here.

I will change my signature line; that was always planned as a one-day "bite me!" special effect. The point has been made.

+++++

(Plus, cage-match fans, Foul's 100-Page Radar is surely going off right now; he'll be locking this whole thing down shortly)

And then you state that I make you sick, and have since 2004?!

If I didn't know better, I'd say you two were in love.  Are we at 100 pages yet?

Hey, Aneoth, I just saw a coverless B2 with big Pepsi spills on it; it's listed for $50, the guy won't combine shipping, and his feedback is -2.

Why don't you buy it, and then log on here to bitch and whine and complain for FIVE PAGES that "this isn't what you expected" and you "feel cheated" and that, by God, you're going to "stand up for justice, even if ... zzzzzzz...."

Considering Dark's invaluable contributions to this site, and considering your non-existent contributions to same, I wish I would have posted it sooner.

By my count, six "LOLs" or smilies will push it to 100 pages.

At that point, I think a script that Foul cooked up kicks in: he gets an email, an IM, a PM, a text on his iPhone, and a call on his home phone that all say: "Lock it down!"

That was low, even for a slack-jawed simian such as yourself.  At least I have a defined alter-ego and cult-like following.  You avatar's just some weirdo in a hat.

I'm having popcorn chicken and shrimp. Thought about popcorn calamari, but it was too expensive. Anyone want some?

Hey this thread is even more entertaining than the latest Indiana Jones movie I just got finished watching.  Too bad I ate up all the popcorn during the movie.

George Lucas is a lemur.  :P
