All seven Gord books for $46 + $3 shipping.  That must be a 100% increase in price for a set:

Why is this suppossed to be a 'silly' price? The new infinities editions were always hard to come by. Its the price they would go for as new paperbacks. Do you mean you can get a set of seven for about $5 or are you thinking of those horrible rose estes Greyhawk books?

I think JG is referring to me and my past sales (which I've told to him before, since we are both often looking at HPB for Gord the Rogue books)....I very typically sold a seven volume set for $24.99 (If you can get a set for half price you are only paying $14, so $24.99 while it wasn't getting rich it was a small profit).  Plus the sets used to sit for weeks and weeks at the $25 mark. However, lately I've sold my last two sets in my Ebay store for $42 and $48 respectively, so the price has been rising on these.

On eBay, single Gord books go for a buck or two plus shipping.  At Half-Price Books, they go for $2 apiece and can be as cheap as $1.

The Gygax versions (TSR or New Infinities) are more difficult to find in bookstores than the Rose Estes versions, but paying $7 apiece for them is crazy . . . three weeks ago I won a lot of three of the New Infinities Gord books for $3 plus $3 shipping/handling:

Maybe the Gord books have found a new price level.

(And, yes, I was thinking of Badmike's sets in particular.)

I'll have to keep my eye out for them. I never had a problem getting $10 each for the New Infinities books.

I sell most of them for $7 each, that seems to be the make or break it price....I have several in my ebay store right now.  They really aren't that rare; I can turn up a complete set given a few weeks of looking on ebay and searching used bookstores.

tfm snagged that fancy schmancy Dragon #1 for just over the reserve ($612).  Not sure if it belongs in this thread, cos it IS a lot of money, or not, cos it was a very nice looking package (that was me in at $500).

Quick jump in on this one. X11 Copy(write :) ) 1986. Only $85. I'm sure the fuzzy picture doesn't do the item justice.

The seller has GDQ1-7 for $100 as well.

In defense of the seller's pictures, cheap digital cameras generate some funky pictures sometimes.  Processing the images makes them even funkier.  The sellers pictures are reminiscent of the pictures my JamCam takes, only much worse.  (What is a JamCam?  http://www.thejamcam.com/index.php)  That's why I use a scanner . . .

Well that makes what, Minty Mint, Mint Mint, and SUPER Mint.

Im not 100% sure, but my guess is ULTRA Mint is next.

:D

Well my rankings would go as follows, from least valuable to most valuable...

Minty Mint - anything you could possibly consume would have to have a perishable value.

Super Mint - Extra flavor, and packs just that little bit of punch

Ultra Mint - Long lasting Mint power with that oh so fresh feel

Mint Mint - The "True" first release of mint quality items

Actually even better than just Super Mint....

"Untouched SuperMINT TSR B3 Palace OfThe Silver Princess"

Wowsers!!   8O

What does the seller do?
Use tweezers to carry it around?
Perhaps he/she has the power/ability of telekenesis!
BTW: It appears that his/her space bar is nearly untouched too............

I should have used that phrase in my Orange B3 Listing.
UNTOUCHED SUPER MINT....
It would also be quite true, since it is Shrinkwrapped. 8)
