Yeah give it time, course soon we'll have 1 peso = $1 or perhaps 1 yen, heck maybe even 1 bead = $1

mdr003 who is a member here just listed these in Australia, and I thought to myself "I'll pull out all stops here, and bid $45." They seem to average about US$40 in the US, so that is a reasonable bid, or so I thought!

Final price for X11  $125!!!!!!!!! 8O  8O  8O

I can't say I was unhappy with the prices most of those X series modules reached. I had all the I series and 3 H series finish over the weekend which all went for 'normal' prices, so I wasn't expecting so much interest in these ones. I thought the X10 in shrink would do well and would be the standout, but there were quite a few others (such as X11) that fetched a very nice price. I even managed to unload an X1 for $4 (it all helps).

Just in time too - the baby is three weeks away so I think I have time for just one more round of auctions.

I'm sorry you missed out on those two mods, Jeremy - but I'm sure Al will fix you up with a good deal.

Regards

Mike

Congrats on those prices! The number of people collecting in Australia seems to have risen substantially over the past year.

Is this your first child? I actually have three sons, aged 9, 6 and 2 and the eldest is just getting interested in playing D&D - I had a trial game with my eldest two a couple of weeks ago and they have been nagging me ever since to play again.

There was conflict in the party though. My eldest said "I search for secret doors". My other son said "Awww. I wanted to do that." Eldest "I said it first I'm doing it" Middle son "I cast my sleep spell on him....!"

Take your pick...  I like the bogus description - sets up an incomplete item as good for "collectors on a budget."

lol

And the price quotes for complete modules is also rediculous.

Her prices for coverless are too high for those modules if they were complete.

That's a good idea. I am on a budget. I might start a coverless module collection. I am sure I can save a lot of money...

On a side note:
I am seeing more and more modules, super modules, and box sets that are missing the maps.
What do folks do with them???

I bet there are some big time collectors here who have bought numerous large lots of RPG stuff and have collected from those large lots dozens and dozens of maps that are still sitting in the same delivery box gathering dust mites......

Aneoth,

Absolutely correct.  I have probably over 40 maps.  I have no idea how to identify them so they just sit in one of the boxes.

Well, the TSR ones should be fairly easy to figure out thanks to the product codes on them.

On the other hand, I have no idea how to identify maps from other companies. :?

I have a decent-sized cardboard box chock full of maps and extras. It would probably take me a week to figure out what they all went to. I'll get to it eventually...

Looks like a first print it's in good shape but aren't these rather common compared to the price

Why is life so much like running a 3rd lvl Elf through a 10th lvl dungeon.

No way. That belongs here as the price is silly!

There are a number on Ebay with BINs for far less than that. I saw a good one go recently for about $15. Troll and Toad has an average one with a $10 BIN
