It did look really nice.  Not that surprised, I guess.

Well, I just couldn't bring myself to pay the $300.00 for the Mint one listed a while back... and this one looked pretty nice... and I really didn't want to go over $200.00 on it... but I figured I'd through another $20.00 in the bid... so I got it for the $215... a bit higher than I wanted to pay... but heck, must be the going price for now... guess the $300.00 for the Mint wasn't all that bad after all :)

Even though the opening price isn't very high I am posting this thing here anyway:

If anyone paid even 99 cents for that pile of trash I would be horrified.  8O  And this is another fine auction from bigvalueguy so don't click on the link at the top of the description.  At least not unless you enjoy clawing your own eyes out.

Hey Badmike,

Does your world headquarters look as impressive as bigvalueguy's?  Just kiddin' Mike.

King, I love what you and the missus have done with the front yard!!!

Oh lord what a mess.  Irving is right next to Euless..they guy is probably less than a five minute drive from my house.  Maybe I should go over in person and see what other fine deals this upstanding citizen has.  That is, if I can dodge the pack of junkyard dogs he has guarding his trailer.....

I was wondering whether the picture could be the real headquarters or a prank. Then I clicked on the image and understood the answer.

I used to live in Irving, Texas....just long enough to be born, actually.

I love this listing...the gall of it....the $10 price and $5 shipping...the highlighter marks (worse than pen, for me), the battered "magazine"....brilliant!

I think the guy's picture is pretty cool......we know that bigvalueguy knows a value when he see's it.  Somewhere in that trailer, in an un-heated, leaky closet, is a box of Wee Warrior modules that is crushing a brown OD&D box filled with all the supplements and a home brew module called Vampire Cult of Castle Carbosto.

His setup is almost as cool as Fencert's game store in the old Texas Schoolbook Depository building.

OR...one might imagine bigvalueguy to be Badmike's alter ego...possibly his evil twin or his split personality, Dr. Jekyl dark side.  Under the trailer is a laboratory where he plots the demise of all shrews everywhere.

Anyone else bored at work today?

OK...I was warned and I clicked on it anyway..... :x

Good thing bigvalueguy was not selling Chaosium products or I'd have lost a sanity point for sure.  :shaking2:

Maybe the picture doesn't register with them, because they think they're just seeing a reflection on the monitor screen.

All day yesterday, I could not figure out what you guys were referring to (click on the link).  I'm not as computer savy as most.  Then today at precisely 7:33 AM I clicked on the picture of the world headquarters....it's as if someone took a wire brush to my eyes!!!!
