Someone saw the description "well, this guy says he saw them for $300, must be a bargin at $199.. CLICK!"

I'm thinking this guy is hoping for the same thing with his BIN

** expired/removed eBay auction **

edit, he changed his BIN from $2000 to $200 whew now its a bargin...

He says he will include 4 boxes, but shows 6 in the picture.. Which ones will he include, its a mystery!

ummm, no..

While the number of autographs is impressive (though not necessarily worth $495), I never got the people who list an item with the exact same BIN as the bid price.

I'll sell you a 3.0 PHB with my autograph for half that price.

I know R4 is harder to come by than the other 3, but c'mon $347 for this one and its beat to shit.  Good for Delbar, but gimme a break. :?

Then again, looking at the rest, they are not much better either.

I agree  8O  :?

I didn't even bother to place a bid, they got out of my price range in a hurry... considering the condition they were in. Congrats to seller.  8)

It's got my old email & telephone number from back when I bought the book, will you settle for that?

Maybe you'd prefer a few volumes with with mold spots. According to ancient legend, these blemishes are actually larval-form beholders, which should therefore increase the collectors' value.

Compare his stuff to a lot of other resellers and you will notice that some of his items are ridiculously high priced and others are bargains.  I have bought from him before and got a good price (MERP item IIRC) and he didnt gouge me on shipping either.

Just about every reseller on Ebay works the same way.  Some things are good buys and others not so much.  Heck, even Badmike has a brain fart once in a while and puts a nutty BIN on an item or two.

Yes I have bought a couple of items from him in the past.

As has been said he doesnt inflate the carriage, and the items I purchased were very reasonable.

I do agree though some Bins are quite steep!

Wait a sec...why would Gary Gygax autograph a 3.0 PH?  I was under the impression he despised 3rd edition, and so do many of his contemporaries.  Something fishy here...

In any case, wouldn't buy ANYTHING "Autographed" on Ebay anyway, unless the seller could provide me COA signed in blood by Sotheby's.

You can take a marker and make a squiggle on anything and say it's autographed.  99% of the "autographed" stuff on ebay is utterly fake.
