Where did they get this price from?  It's sure as hell not Amazon, as it's only $25 there.

(Though there is a $238.10 one there as well.   )

At that price I would think they could waive the $1 handling fee 8).  And maybe throw in a B12 too :D

Here's a variant.  Bid on B11 and buy something else

Man this is one sad looking OCE.  Some of the supplements don't look that much better.  And all for the brain-numbing opening price of only $300.

Of course not; they're those little chocolate ones, and they're hidden underneath the pieces of paper with his user id on them.

(What's sad is that, even given its condition, he probably could have gotten a decent price for it had he opened it at a reasonable starting bid -- but instead he had to get greedy.)

Maybe the stains on the books are mint flavored?  :P

A Scratch-n-Sniff OCE for the little gamer!  Surely, that's got to be more valuable than your than your typical, plain vanilla OCE.

Also, I think an anagram of the user's name is a secret message for Acaeum members

I do a yuk ?

Maybe the "lucky winner" of the auction can lick the books and tell us if they are really minty. At the very least it would help clean up some of the covers.  :P

The current high bidder obviously isn't the sharpest tool in the shed:

In his defence (well, sort of), City By The Silt Sea does seem to be one of the harder DS boxes to find.  (Well, relative to other DS boxes, that is.)  Especially if he doesn't want to pay transatlantic shipping.
