I dont know man, I mean because of the potential shipping savings I don;t think it necessarily qualifies as the silliest, but thats effectively $20 per module with the $40 shipping included.  That pretty high for DL modules, particualarly opened ones.  Just doing a quick look through his store you could have picked up a bunch of shrinkwrapped ones for almost the same price.

All things considered I still think this is an excellent buy for a collector.  There's a couple of other factors to look at.  First, you are getting the entire collection, complete and un-used, all at once.  This would be a tough set to complete mainly because of DL11.  Heck, it took me months just to complete my Al-Qadim collection because I was trying to be frugal.  In the end I paid more than I should have for the last couple items.  Second, and more importantly, the seller is reputable and you can take his word that the modules are all complete.  When it comes to DL modules nothing is more confusing then they are.  Some come with maps, some don't.  A couple have counter sheets.  Many come with un-numbered center pull-out sections meant to be removed and most have tri-fold covers intended to be cut apart.  I still have to look at my notes to know if they are complete.  Intelligator should know if they are complete if anyone does.

Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts and for the reasons mentioned above I think this one qualifies.

Sorry it took me so long to reply but typically I can't compose more than 3 sentences without laboring for hours

Hi

I sell most of the DL modules at £5.00 each.

I wouldnt say they've been a particularly popular seller here in the past.

Cheers,
Malc

I haven't been paying all that much attention to the post-revision Dark Sun stuff (still working on finishing my pre-revision collection), but to me this seems a little high even for shrinked:

Any comments?  (Like, say, "g026r, you're an idiot.  That's a perfectly normal price." )

Maybe for first printings, but there's no indication they're firsts, is there?

The DMG is a first and the PHB is a 2nd.  Regardless, they are both, ummm....well...silly.  :?

I had (low) bids in on a lot of the items that that seller had listed, and a fair number of them went for far more than I expected.

Either that, or I got very lucky when I picked up my campaign setting box for around $30 instead of $50.

O.K. I don't get it.  I need some education.  Why do so many Planescape books/materials go for so high?  What combination of quality and quantity or whatever make these go higher than similar-sized AD&D materials?  Or am I just imagining that these go for more? :?:   I realize I am asking for opinions, and those are welcome.

Great lot of 16 Forgotten Realms products at a TRUE auction price of $0.99, but it might be cheaper to buy a plane ticket PDT_Armataz_01_23 with Jet Blue  PDT_Armataz_01_06 than to get these shipped:

That's like saying $20 for shipping plus a $100 handling fee.
