Almost $20 a module for a lot of Dragonlance modules? Am I missing something here? :?

Heh, I see I wasn't the only one that saw that auction. I notice the high bidder is Italian...probably was trying to buy a big lot to save getting nickled and dimed on overseas shipping, but at that price he probably came out behind anyway.

Whoa, and I just noticed he topped his winning bid FIVE TIMES!!  8O

That seems pretty high even though its still in shrink. The sellar has several shrinkwrapped items others at decent prices. Although I'm not sure all of these were originally wrapped....

Hmm, no, I don't have a gambling problem, I'm winning, and winning is not a problem. That's like saying Michael Jordan has a basketball problem, or Def Leppard has an awesomeness problem. So why don't y'all pour some sugar on that?

He can't be all bad, though — he just recently bought a Hommlet from our own BC!

(Sadly, though, Brian did not score $99 on that deal).

I think the buyer in serious and will pay the coin for it too.  He has also bought some items from intelligator which were probably on the high side.  Seems like a newbie buyer with some money burning a hole in his pocket.

Heres an interesting auction with a $500Au BIN 8O, interesting because of the reference to Hobbits (TSR OD&D - wishful thinking), but still a highly speculative price from a new seller .

Newbie listing to say the least!!! Could be just about anything couldn't it?

(I've suggested that the seller make a list even if he can't do pictures - doesn't hurt to be helpful :D )

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

Man, that is just awful.

We need a "Laziest Listing of the Year" thread.

I remember seeing a basic and expert box set a few months back sell for $75 each and thinking that was crazy.  Then this one ended the other day:

This is at least the 3rd time this has been up and nothing has changed, same dumb $40 opening bid and an even more dumb $150 BIN.  With the $10 S&H fee, he'd be lucky to get a $4 bid let alone a $40 bid. :?

Clearly undaunted, this seller tries, yet again:

Seriously, like how many times do you have to list an auction at the exact same price over and over again that doesn't sell before you start thinking to yourself, "Perhaps this isn't worth what I had hoped it was".  :?

Maybe the US market is going the same way. Are we seeing a big surge in prices? I was watching a whole lot of items by the Seller hamilcar:

Shadow Elves $66:
** expired/removed eBay auction **

UK2 $23:
** expired/removed eBay auction **

Perhaps it is that people are prepared to fork out high prices for SW. Incidentally, this Seller has an amazing diversity of products NM(SW). Anyone know the Seller or the source?
