I sold the same item complete with the only defect being a sahuagin replaced one missing orc (all unpainted, unprimed), and it sold for about $13.

If the box only sells for even $9.99 then I'm a horse's patoot...

(Personally I'm no particular of fan of that "high-contrast" style, either, even though the amount of work in there is clear to see.... :)).

Unfortunately work and personal life takes priority over my time here ... so consider yourself lucky

Having said that looking at the amount you have been squandering on collecting leads me to believe either:

a. you have had a pay increase
b. a rich uncle has left you an inheritence
c. your credit cards are about to explode and we will soon see you on the news being chased across europe clutching rare manuscripts and white boxes

Option c. it is. :?
*gets out butterfly net, in preparation for the big-bang*

Time to .pdf 'em and flog the originals to you for a 50% markup. :P
That was a joke, btw, despite being a reiteration of a valid point... but then, you knew that already, Mike.

Wow...there were 34 bidders on that auction....which is odd, because $34 would have been about my bid.

Lets not get insulting here, freddy is one of the worlds best.  Miniature painting is an emerging art form.  I would have guessed this one to go in the $700.00 range.  The previous high price was $980.00 IIRC for a Matt Verzani painted miniature.
