Those that I actually care about, yeah, Brian... :(

(i.e. Not ST1 or the Jade Hare cover).

Cheers! That sat around for rather a l-o-n-g time (7 hours or more?). Must've missed it by 10 minutes before going to sleep: Frank shares Rob's habit of posting/listing at 3.30am UK time, I think. ;)
Was surprised the bidders on the other copy hadn't pounced-- or yourself, for that matter. Or that Radagast hadn't burst back onto the scene to comment.
(Where is our Italian friend? :?)

I just missed it.  As noted, I haven't been able to check Ebay as much over the last couple weeks as often as I usually do. :(   I was able to snag a few choice items on BINs though for which I will be posting in the fun finds thread.

UK auction for a 1st print DMG:

Not the greatest condition and opening bid is a bit aggressive, but might be worth a shot for someone who doesn't have one. :)

Yeah, I'd already spotted the 4th OD&D. Oops... didn't say that! ^^

Ahh, I hoped that snuck completely under the Radar.  I just posted it in the "Fun Finds" thread.  :)

"Family Adventure Boardgame."

Sounds like fun and plunder for mom, dad and the kids!  Crush your enemies!  Drive them before you!  Hear the lamentations of their women!  All in good, clean family fun!

Wait...isn't that the main point in the game, Life?

Just add in "plunder" instead of "payday" and you've got yourself a family fantasy game!

I've actually got a copy. It's card-based, uses a point-to-point movement system, and is intended for a young audience. It's actual relationship to D&D is nebulous at best, but many of the expected elements (big swords, toothy monsters, fireballs) are there.

Honestly, it's not completely awful. It's certainly no Terrible Swift Sword, but it has its moments.

I bought a set recently as well having never seen it before. I am glad to hear it was not a total waste of money.
