True enough, but only to a degree.

My "mint" item is now not even within the same ZIP code as actual "mint." I have thus received an item "substantially not as described" — either iRippedYouOff used a stock photo for an already-damaged item or else the item was damaged in transit. Either way, it doesn't really matter, as it is not the item described in the listing, and, therefore, I have a legitimate claim.

As to their attitide ... who knows? I've yet to hear a peep regarding my initial complaint to them, which was sent within three minutes of opening the box.

If you like I have an empty box!  You can have it for the price of shipping!

Let me know

Jeff

The two-piece Silver Anniversary boxes? I've got at least one extra; go ahead, Brian.

Now that I'm hunting down Dungeon mags like mad, I sometimes spot a decent deal:

Dungeon #1

Looks solid; hovering at less than $10.

Cool, I use them to store some of my stuff and the 3 empty ones I have are full. :)

Which ones are you looking for?  I have some extras laying around that I was going to be dumping on EBay.  I am pretty sure that I have at least an extra #1, #3, $4, $5, & #6 laying around and I imagine that I have a few later ones as well.

I think #6 may be one of the more rare issues.  I seldom see it on Ebay.

Well I have used Badmike's patented 90 day solution (TM) and it works a treat - all the nastiness is just washed away, and no unpleasant odours either!  :)

Followup report.

They did the same with my first one but I lucked out; it's still pristine.

I delayed payment on the next two until the last minute, and prodded them multiple times to be dam' sure to keep 'em pristine. Don't think that helped in this case but in might for the next two.

So anyway, one AOK so far.

X-man, I still think you oughta bite 'em.
