Seller has three separate copies of Bio One up at the same time.

Pretty sure the same seller had two or three of them plus a couple of copies of Boot Hill at the same time a few months ago.  Seller has a few other interesting items as well.

This seller confounds me.  I inquired about the three Holmes 1st printing rulebooks.  I asked whether they were the exact item shown in  the photo, and he replied that they were.  However, the picture in the three auctions is identical (bitwise), so that can't be true.

I assume he didn't realize the importance of the question, but I'm not taking a risk on a multiple-printing item.  A later printing of that rulebook is worth nothing.  Maybe they're all 1sts, maybe he can't differentiate between them and they look the same to him.

that seller is a "she" from what i recall. very polite too i recall, tho not tremendously helpful relating to anything "in depth" ie. no knowledge other than what you can clearly see etc. and very busy too, so very particular questions dont get answered - i remember asking quite a few at one point and think i had a 1 in 6 reply.

I'm sure that the books are all the same printings Deimos.  For anyone that remembers her previous auctions, she had multiples of many such things.  I seem to recall about 6 Balboa Warlocks, 2 Boot Hill supplements, a couple Character Archaics, etc etc

Be careful, Tyson.  The Character Archaic I won from her was not the one pictured in the auctions (she had two of them up at the same time).  I assume the one pictured in both auctions was the one a2jeff received.  Mine was in slightly worse condition.  She made the same assurances to me when I asked about the photos.

That is true. The condition of a number of the items I won were worse than described as well - some had water damage and rust marks.  But the printing info was still correct.

Yes the one in the pics matches from what I can tell my copy of the CA.  I'd suggest trying to get actual pics of the individual items if there are concerns.

Interesting mix of books. 3rd PHB, 3rd MM and what appears to be a 1st DMG. The latter appears to be in pretty good shape.

A rather large lot of interesting items including two white boxes, several suppliments, 2 chainmails, War of the Ring boxed set, Dragon magazine CD, and some other stuff.  A high opening opening bid, but probably worth it.
