Just doing the math quickly, but 5th Print Set by itsellf in that condition would go for say $150. The OCE set ~$80, each supplement other than the GK Chain Mail would go for about $20 each for a total of $140.  GK Chainmail ~$60. War of the Ring IIRC goes usually for at least $50. 8 Hardcovers at $3 each for a total of $24. Best of Dragons $2 each for a total of $14 and the Outdoor Survival set $5.  The 2 RQ sets, I know nothing about so I will not include them, but when you look at the total of the items I did include you get a total of $523 w/o the 2 RQ sets. As a 1 shot bid it might be worth it.  Granted the shipping is pretty absurd, but I suppose that you could talk him down from that, but even still IMHO paying $540 for everything would not too over the top. :)

Sorry, I must have missed something somewhere. I just thought maybe it was an Alpha/Omega 3rd print +-%?! or something.

No thanks to the OCE, but if anyone has a 5th print in that condition at that price, please give me a holler! :P

*nods*. "At least"...

Seller (again) does themselves no favors by not splitting up the lot and letting everything find its level. Am surprised no-one "did a deal" with them after it failed to sell last time.

Reading the description he/she also mentions a Dragon Magazine Archive I believe.  Either that or he is selling a copy of that. :?

Isn't that against the unwritten rules of the forum--> No drinking and posting.   Oh yeah, and definitely no drinking and bidding or you will end up with all kinds of crazy sh*t that you don't really want.

Yep, 5ths have been exploding in value, with no signs of letting up.  $150 for that condition would be a bargain.  It seems they are trying to stay about 120-150% higher than OCEs.  5ths in the UK do better than in the US, for some reason I can't explain.  :?

Star Frontiers 2001 and 2010 Space Odyssey Modules

Nine hours left with a current bid of $5.50.  I don't think I've seen these since a Gen Con auction of years past.

For what it's worth (not much), I wrote the 2001... it's true to the novel, and I worked from the MGM script but not the finished screenplay.

Hush 'bout that $150 quote, please! I'm still hoping... :?

Heh. But yes, we'd noted that UK/US split $-wise back in 2004 in that other OCE thread of your's, remember. The date difference between the two countries for involvement in the hobby plays a part in that, I think. Demand/availability ratio is better over here for white-box sellers in general, too.

"120-150% higher"? I'm really not sure about that. What have you been tracking? :)

Yep, saw that one and thought about it, but I already have the books and the box was trashed.  Aw well, let someone get one cheap now and then.  That one would have gone for more, but it's value had already exploded and taken the box with it.

I just made that up, but I don't think it's that far off.  I stopped trackin' em months ago, to be honest.    Though I am on the lookout for 4ths...
