I played this one a couple of times back in the 80s when it was news. A sort of DM-less RPG with encounters generated by a book of hugely complex tables.

Lots of atmosphere but not a great game - okay to play solo though which is probably it's sweet spot IMHO.

More about it here http://69.13.44.3/game/1780

Cheers!
Nick

There be sealed Outdoor Geomorphs in this Basic Set!  Some of seller's negatives might raise a concern.

Mars wrote:It's a flyer that is definitely UK in origin.  I found it interesting that the 3 books on the cover of the pamphlet has a Lizard logo on it.  It also states that that you can buy D&D products from Games Workshop (no mention of TSR in the US).  The inside has an article by Steve Jackson of Games Workshop.

My guess is that the boxed set is not different from any of the known sets but that some were sent to the UK and then Games Workshop added their own flyer and sold them.

You can tell that from the photo?  Or do you have a copy?

Wow! That was a good buy. A steal at anything under $20. Well done, Brian.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
