I am talking off the top of my head, but I think that there is still a spell immunity spell...but Serten's name has been removed.

Warriors of Mars:

Looks like a nice copy.  Opening bid may turn a lot of people off though.

Do there seem to be a lot of Isoldit and Quickdrop auctions these days?

If I had the spare $$, I'd BIN.  I can't imagine it will go for less than $600 if someone doesn't BIN.

I would love to put in a bid right now but it just isn't in the budget right now.  Tuition and truck insurance have me stretched a bit.

I would actually be surprised if it did go that high.  The high bidders on the last one are all out of the game.  Vermillion won, Bclarkie bought one from somewhere else, I'm strapped for cash and Red Bus picked one up with a 3rd print woodgrain set later on too.  I think that is everyone who bid around $300+.

Not to mention that the ones before the $500 one sold for much less.  Going through that list makes me think they are about as rare as the woodgrains during the past year :)

I just ensured that the next one won't go for anywhere near $500...

No where near but exactly.  I would say nice win (and I am envious) but I am not yet convinced the price is going to stay up there.  $500 makes it a pretty serious collectible which was undoubtably obtained through Acaeum hype.

So I will ask again:

Did anyone ever confirm exactly what printing this was?

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I asked the seller this morning and he responded by saying he didn't know and asked me how he could tell.  In that condition, I hope for the winning bidders sake that they did in fact confirm it was a 1st printing.  :?

Howdy Brian,

It is the later version of the 1st print with the variant cover volume 3 with the art prints listed.

I doubt whether this mythical "Double extra super special extra-cool 1st print", without art prints exists?  Has anyone got one?  :D

I might add that this went for higher than I thought considering the grim condition and the fact that it has no ref sheets (try picking those up). Compare recently that lovely copy with the sales receipt.
